About this project

A server-side Fabric mod that runs Doom (1993) inside Minecraft as a Plasmid minigame, with sound. It ships the Doom shareware WAD and Freedoom Phase 1 and 2. Hosting needs Plasmid, Polymer and Fabric API; players need no client mods. A public server runs at playdoom.pb4.eu.

Open a game with /game open or /game portal open
WASD movement, mouse aim, 1-7 weapon select
Doom sound effects played in Minecraft
Doom shareware and Freedoom included

Requirements and setup

Fabric server with Plasmid, Polymer and Fabric API; client mods are not needed (Modrinth: client unsupported, server required). Ships Doom shareware and Freedoom WADs. The repo's master branch has an unreleased 'Update to 26.3' commit (2026-09-29).
