Minecraft Crossover Bridge
Runs real Minecraft Java 1.21.1 inside Monster Hunter: World or Elden Ring on an Apple Silicon Mac, with the Windows game in CrossOver and the two linked through shared memory.
At your own risk. We link, never host. Safety

About this project
Runs Minecraft: Java Edition 1.21.1 with Fabric natively on an Apple Silicon Mac while Monster Hunter: World or Elden Ring runs in CrossOver, linked through shared memory. The game renders its world from Minecraft's camera and composites Minecraft's blocks, mobs and hand into its frame; the game's collision is sampled into invisible blocks. Tested on an M2 Max with macOS 14.3 and CrossOver 26.3; Elden Ring 1.17.1 runs offline without Easy Anti-Cheat on D3DMetal, Monster Hunter: World 15.23.00 on DXMT. There are no binary releases, and the author credits the idea to Tobyn Jacobs.
- Steve walks on the host game's real collision
- Game monsters get Minecraft hitboxes; swords, arrows and TNT hurt them
- Monster attacks damage the player in Minecraft
- F8 hands keyboard and mouse to the game for its menus and back
Requirements and setup
