About this project

SkyCraft runs Minecraft: Java Edition hidden in the background while Skyrim draws the picture. An SKSE plugin and a Fabric mod exchange movement, collision, blocks and combat through shared memory, so neither game is rewritten. It needs Skyrim Special Edition on the Anniversary Edition runtime (tested on 1.7.104), SKSE64, Address Library and an account that owns Minecraft: Java Edition; the release bundles a portable Prism Launcher set up with Minecraft 26.3 and Fabric. The README calls it early and experimental.

Requirements and setup

Skyrim Special Edition on the Anniversary Edition runtime (developed/tested on 1.7.104), SKSE64 and Address Library for SKSE Plugins (AE all-in-one); a Microsoft account that owns Minecraft: Java Edition. The release bundles a portable Prism Launcher with Minecraft 26.3, Fabric and Fabric API (Java downloaded by Prism). README budgets ~3 GB extra RAM and ~1.5 GB disk, and heavily recommends Alternate Start - Live Another Life (the Helgen opening may leave you stuck). Camera mods such as Improved Camera SE, SmoothCam and True Directional Movement conflict.
