About this project
A Fabric mod that lets you build a PC from in-game parts and run a real VirtualBox 6.1 virtual machine on its monitor. Parts are ordered from an ordering tablet and delivered by a satellite; ISO images in .minecraft/vm_computers/isos boot from the case menu. The current README lists Minecraft 1.16.5 with Fabric API 0.42.0+1.16, and says the repository is abandoned while a rewrite is planned. PCGamesN showed it running Microsoft Paint and Doom in 2020.
- Order PC parts from an in-game ordering tablet
- Build a case with motherboard, RAM, GPU and monitor
- Boot ISO images and virtual hard drives in VirtualBox
- Use the VM through the in-game monitor
Requirements and setup
Fabric for Minecraft 1.15–1.16.5, VirtualBox 6.1 or later installed locally, and the user's own OS install media; single-player on the user's own client only.
